  Amazing pool deck, great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Food prices are higher than usual, but the food is good. Nice place for sundowners.

  Hard to beat falling asleep listening to the waves on the foreshore! The Southern Sun is low rise (4-5 storeys) and has a long beach frontage. Comfortable rooms with windows/ small balconies that look out over the pool and ocean - ask for the sea-side. Excellent breakfast and evening buffets. Friendly and welcoming staff.

  Stayed for 3 nights. Beach facing room. Room was clean and had all the expected amenities. Good gym facilities at the hotel. GREAT restaurant with the nicest breakfast and dinner buffets. Very friendly staff and very efficient service.
