  Integrated in the Hoyo Hoyo guest house, and also best known by that name, this is one of the best restaurants to try some traditional Mozambican gastronomy, right in the center of Maputo. The location is great and has a very calm and quiet environment. The staff is very nice, the food is simply tasty, with a home cooked feeling, and the prices are very affordable for what you get. Try the shrimp mboa or the chicken curry and, for dessert, have a slice of the famous passion fruit cake or the bebinca (a traditional Goan dessert). Besides the wonderful outdoor area, there is also a garden and internal parking space, so finding a spot won't be an issue too. A must go for who is visiting the city.
